So, I'm in Tokyo and loving it! For this reason I'll be changing this blog a little, in case there are people out there who wanna know what I've been doing so far. First of all I'll be writing in English because like this I can reach more people. But on the other hand I'll try to let pictures speak for me, because first of all I have a lot of them... and secondly I think my blog entries so far have shown that my talent lies more on the visual side of arts than on the writing side...
I've taken really a lot of pictures and I don't even know where to start. Some of them, especially the one of people I think I'm gonna upload on facebook. Here, I'll try to organize the many many impressions Tokyo is giving me.
Short introduction: I'm taking an intensive Japanese course in Tokyo for four weeks and I just started my third week of class. The first 10 days have been pretty intense because I had the worst jetlag of my life that didn't let me sleep for more than 4 hours a night and at the same time I did a lot of sightseeing with Julia (a good friend who's studying here for a year), Clemens+Luke (got to Japan a day before me, spent their first 10 days in Tokyo and then went off to Kyoto in order to do a work and travel there) and Katha (a friend of a friend who's visiting Japan for 3 weeks). After they left, it got a little more relaxed but not calm at all. Now I go out for lunch with my classmates and hang out more with people from the guesthouse where I'm staying. All in all I'm having a wonderful time. But as I said.. I should try to let the pictures speak. I'm still not sure how I'm gonna do this... maybe I'll start with the impressions of different quarters of Tokyo....
By they way, speaking about impressions of Tokyo ... a project that resulted from the sightseeing-overflow in the first 10 days: Tokyo - uritimatu fuguransu
let the pics speak...
